Our Commitments
The standards we hold ourselves to
Fulfilment is about trust. These are the commitments that shape how we treat our people, our partners, our communities and the planet. They are published openly because the way we do business matters as much as what we deliver.
Our commitments
How we choose to operate
Expand any commitment to read it in full. Each one is a working standard we apply across our operation, our supply chain and our partnerships.
At FULFIL.X, sustainability is embedded into everything we do. As a UK-based 3PL with global fulfilment hubs, we recognise our responsibility to reduce environmental impact while supporting our clients' growth in a responsible way.
We design our operations to be digital-first and paperless wherever possible, minimising unnecessary resource use across our workflows. Our fulfilment processes are optimised to calculate the smallest possible packaging size for every shipment, reducing waste and improving transport efficiency. To lower emissions, we consolidate courier collections and offer carbon-friendly shipping options to our clients. We also actively invest in environmental initiatives, including tree planting, to help offset our footprint.
Sustainable Materials and Waste Reduction
95% of all cardboard waste is recycled. Pallet wrap plastics are recycled through specialist partners. We are transitioning fully to paper tape and paper void fill, use biodegradable shipping bags as standard, and design packaging choices to minimise excess materials at every stage.
Responsible Operations
Our facilities run on low-energy LED lighting and low-energy heating systems to reduce consumption. Digital systems replace paper-based processes across our operation, from client onboarding to order management and reporting.
Circular Economy Support
FULFIL.X goes beyond fulfilment by supporting responsible brand returns and offering recycling solutions for e-waste, clothing and textiles, and other recyclable product categories. We see our role in the circular economy as an extension of our responsibility as a logistics operator, not a separate initiative.
Supporting Our People
We believe sustainability includes people as well as the planet. Our ride-to-work scheme encourages greener commuting choices and supports employee wellbeing. A business that looks after its people and its environment is a more resilient business, and that is the kind of operation we are committed to building.
Sustainability is not a one-time initiative at FULFIL.X. It is an ongoing commitment. We continually review our processes, materials, and partnerships to ensure we are delivering fulfilment solutions that are efficient, responsible, and future-focused.

FULFIL.X has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to ensuring that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own operation or our supply chain.
This commitment applies to every person working for or on behalf of FULFIL.X, including employees, agency workers, contractors, and suppliers. It is not a statement we make lightly. It reflects the values this business was built on and the standard we uphold every day.
Our Business and Supply Chain
FULFIL.X is a third-party logistics and fulfilment business operating from Manchester. Our operations include warehousing, pick and pack, domestic and international freight, and returns management. Our supply chain includes courier and freight carriers, packaging and materials suppliers, warehouse equipment and technology providers, and agency or temporary staffing partners.
We recognise that logistics and warehousing supply chains can carry risks related to labour exploitation, particularly where manual labour, agency staffing, and international freight are involved. We take those risks seriously and actively work to identify and address them.
Our Commitments
FULFIL.X commits to never knowingly engaging any supplier, contractor, or partner that uses forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour, or that allows workers to be held in debt bondage. We pay all staff at or above the National Living Wage and ensure all employment rights are respected. We conduct due diligence on new suppliers and subcontractors and ensure all staff are legally permitted to work in the UK before employment begins.
We provide a safe, respectful working environment in which every person is free from coercion, exploitation, and fear. Any member of staff who identifies potential signs of modern slavery, whether in our own business, in goods handled on behalf of clients, or in our supply chain, is expected to report it immediately to the FULFIL.X Director.
Reporting Concerns
FULFIL.X will not penalise any individual for raising a genuine concern in good faith. Reports can also be made directly to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is free and confidential.
This statement is issued in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. FULFIL.X will publish a formal Transparency Statement under Section 54 of the Act once the business meets the relevant turnover threshold. Until that point, this statement represents our voluntary and ongoing commitment.
FULFIL.X operates a strict zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in every form. That is not a legal formality. It reflects how we have built this business and the standard we hold ourselves and everyone we work with to.
We do not offer, accept, or facilitate payments, gifts, or inducements designed to influence business decisions. We do not engage suppliers, carriers, or partners who operate differently. And we do not make exceptions based on commercial pressure, geography, or convenience.
What This Means in Practice
Every person working for or on behalf of FULFIL.X, whether employed, contracted, or acting as an agent, is expected to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. This includes how we win new clients, how we manage supplier relationships, and how we handle situations where a conflict of interest could arise.
We do not pay or receive kickbacks. We do not offer hospitality that is designed to create obligation. We do not make facilitation payments to speed up processes, even where such practices may be common in certain markets or sectors.
Reporting and Accountability
Any individual who becomes aware of behaviour that may constitute bribery or corruption is expected to report it promptly to the FULFIL.X Director. Reports made in good faith will never result in any form of retaliation or disadvantage to the person raising the concern.
This commitment is issued in accordance with the Bribery Act 2010 and applies across all FULFIL.X operations, including any international activity undertaken through our global fulfilment hub partnerships.
FULFIL.X handles data on behalf of over 45 brands. That means we hold order data, customer records, inventory information, and commercial details that belong to the businesses who trust us with their operations. We take that responsibility seriously.
We are committed to full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Every piece of data we process is handled lawfully, transparently, and only for the purposes it was collected.
How We Protect Your Data
Our systems are built around data minimisation and access control. Staff only access the data they need to do their job. Client data is never shared with third parties without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards in place. Our technology infrastructure, including ORDR, our purpose-built 3PL ERP platform, is designed with multi-tenant security and role-based access controls as a foundation, not an afterthought.
We maintain clear data retention policies and ensure that personal data is not held for longer than necessary. When data needs to be deleted, it is done properly.
Your Rights
Individuals whose data we process have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of that data. Any data-related request or concern can be directed to the FULFIL.X Director, who acts as our responsible person for data protection matters.
We review our data handling practices regularly and update them as our operations evolve. If you have questions about how FULFIL.X processes data on your behalf, please get in touch.
FULFIL.X is built on the effort of a diverse team. People of different backgrounds, nationalities, experience levels, and life circumstances have helped us grow from a start-up operation into a business running across 55,000 square feet. That diversity is not incidental. It is part of what makes us work.
We are committed to equal opportunities in everything we do, from how we recruit and promote, to how we pay and how we listen. No person working for FULFIL.X will be treated less favourably on the basis of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
Fair Pay as a Baseline
Every FULFIL.X employee is paid at or above the National Living Wage. We review pay regularly and are committed to ensuring that pay decisions are based on role, responsibility, and performance, not on personal characteristics.
We support our team through our ride-to-work scheme and actively look for ways to improve the financial and practical wellbeing of the people who work here as the business grows.
A Culture That Reflects Our Values
Equal opportunities is not just a recruitment policy. It means creating a working environment where people feel safe to raise concerns, where management listens, and where progression is genuinely open to everyone. We take complaints of discrimination or unfair treatment seriously and investigate them promptly and fairly.

Warehousing and logistics is a physically and mentally demanding environment. Early starts, fast-paced operations, and the pressure of peak seasons all take a toll. We are not naive about that. And we do not think the right response is to ignore it.
FULFIL.X is committed to supporting the mental health and overall wellbeing of every person who works here. That means building an environment where people feel comfortable speaking up when they are struggling, where management responds with empathy rather than performance pressure, and where the signs of poor mental health are recognised early rather than dismissed.
What We Do
Mental health is a regular conversation at FULFIL.X, not a topic that only surfaces during awareness months. We encourage open communication between staff and management and work to ensure that workloads are manageable, that pressure is fairly distributed, and that people are not regularly asked to work in ways that compromise their health.
We signpost staff to relevant support services and take seriously any concerns raised about working conditions, stress, or personal circumstances that are affecting someone's ability to do their job.
A Workplace Where People Want to Show Up
We believe that a business runs better when its people are genuinely well. High staff turnover, disengagement, and burnout are not just human costs. They are operational ones. Investing in the wellbeing of our team is not a nice-to-have. It is part of how we run a serious business.
If you work at FULFIL.X and you are struggling, we want to hear from you. No judgment. No consequences. Just support.
FULFIL.X touches a wide supply chain. Packaging materials, carrier networks, warehouse equipment, staffing partners, technology providers. Every one of those relationships is a reflection of how we operate, and we take our responsibilities across that supply chain seriously.
We are committed to sourcing responsibly, which means working with suppliers and partners who share our values on labour standards, environmental impact, and ethical business conduct. We do not knowingly work with suppliers who exploit workers, damage communities, or cut corners on safety.
Packaging and Materials
Our packaging choices are deliberately made. We use biodegradable shipping bags, paper tape, and paper void fill as standard. We source cardboard and packaging materials from suppliers who can demonstrate responsible manufacturing practices. Where we have a choice between two comparable products, the more sustainable option wins.
As our volumes grow, we use that scale as leverage to push for better standards from our materials suppliers rather than simply accepting whatever is cheapest or most convenient.
Carrier and Logistics Partners
We select our courier and freight partners based on service quality, reliability, and increasingly on their own environmental and ethical commitments. We consolidate collections to reduce unnecessary vehicle movements and offer clients carbon-friendly shipping options as part of our standard service.
Ongoing Review
Responsible sourcing is not a one-time audit. We review our key supplier relationships regularly, ask the right questions before onboarding new partners, and reserve the right to end a relationship if a supplier falls below the standards we expect. We would rather absorb the short-term inconvenience of changing a supplier than compromise the integrity of our operation.
FULFIL.X is a registered member of the Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme (FHDDS), a mandatory UK government scheme administered by HMRC. Registration is a legal requirement for any UK-based third-party fulfilment business that stores goods owned by or on behalf of overseas sellers and fulfils orders on their behalf.
The scheme exists to ensure that fulfilment houses operating in the UK are conducting appropriate due diligence on the sellers they work with, helping to prevent VAT fraud and the undercutting of legitimate UK businesses through non-compliant trading practices.
What FHDDS Registration Means
As a registered FHDDS business, FULFIL.X is required to carry out and maintain due diligence checks on all overseas sellers whose goods we store and fulfil. This includes verifying that sellers are registered for UK VAT where required, keeping records of the sellers we work with, and reporting to HMRC where we have reasonable grounds to suspect a seller is not meeting their UK tax obligations.
We take these responsibilities seriously. Non-compliance with FHDDS requirements carries significant legal and financial consequences, and we operate well above the minimum standards the scheme requires.
What This Means for Our Clients
For brands and sellers working with FULFIL.X, our FHDDS registration provides an additional layer of assurance. It confirms that we are a recognised, HMRC-registered fulfilment operation, that we conduct proper due diligence as a matter of legal obligation, and that we operate transparently within the UK regulatory framework.
It also means that when you partner with FULFIL.X, you are working with a business that takes compliance seriously across every part of its operation, not just when it is convenient.
When you provide your details to FULFIL.X through our website, an enquiry form, or any other point of contact, you are trusting us with your personal information. We do not take that lightly. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
What We Collect and Why
When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, or make contact through our website, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you include in your message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide information about our services, and where you have given us permission, to keep in touch with relevant updates, news, and offers from FULFIL.X.
How We May Contact You
By submitting your details through our website or contact forms, you agree that FULFIL.X may contact you by email, telephone, and WhatsApp in connection with your enquiry and our services. We will only use your information for the purposes it was provided and will never sell or pass your details to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your Right to Unsubscribe and Opt Out
You have the right to opt out of marketing communications from FULFIL.X at any time. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link and you can use it at any point to remove yourself from our mailing list. If you would prefer not to be contacted by phone or WhatsApp for marketing purposes, you can let us know by emailing hello@fulfil-x.com and we will update your preferences immediately.
Opting out of marketing communications will not affect any service-related correspondence connected to an active client relationship.
Data Retention and Your Rights
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes it was collected. Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us directly at hello@fulfil-x.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
This privacy policy applies to data collected through our website and marketing channels. For information about how we handle data processed as part of a client fulfilment relationship, please refer to the data protection provisions within your client agreement or contact us directly.
Ready to streamline
your fulfilment?
Stop worrying about boxes and shipping labels. Let FULFIL.X handle your logistics so you can focus on scaling your brand.

FULFIL.X was built in Manchester and operates from the heart of the city. That is not just a location. It is a community that has supported the growth of this business, that supplies our workforce, and that we feel a genuine responsibility towards.
Social value means thinking beyond the immediate transaction. It means asking what kind of business we want to be, what we contribute to the area we operate in, and how we use our growth to create benefit that goes beyond our own bottom line.
Employment and Opportunity
As FULFIL.X grows, we create jobs. We are committed to ensuring those jobs are good ones: fairly paid, safe, and open to people from all backgrounds. We actively look to hire locally and to provide opportunities for people who may not have a conventional route into employment, including through apprenticeship programmes and entry-level roles with genuine progression.
Our Content Creator and Social Media Apprentice programme is one example of how we invest in people at the start of their careers, providing real experience alongside structured development.
Environmental Investment in Our Community
Beyond our operational sustainability commitments, FULFIL.X invests in environmental initiatives including tree planting, contributing to projects that improve the wider environment for everyone. We see this as part of our responsibility as a business that generates logistics activity and the associated environmental footprint.
Supporting Client Brands With Purpose
Many of the brands we work with are themselves purpose-driven businesses. We actively support their ability to operate responsibly by providing fulfilment infrastructure that helps them hit their own sustainability and ethical trading targets. When our clients win on these fronts, we consider that a shared achievement.
Social value at FULFIL.X is not a report we write once a year. It is a lens we apply to how we hire, how we spend, who we partner with, and what kind of business we choose to be as we scale.
